Breaking Taco is the second best mexican restaurant in Mahomet Illinois. Going in I liked how they have the little bell that rings when you go in. It is a little older of a place to eat, but I really like the setup inside and color choice they did. They made it look like a traditional mexican restaurant. They do run like most restaurants, when the waiters come ask for drinks, give you time to look and the menu, then take your order, and bring your food to you. There is one main difference that mexican restaurants have is they bring you chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Personally I was not a fan of salsa. It was a sweeter kind. I prefer other places salsa like los zarapes, it was not bad I just would rather have another kind. 

   The place is a little outdated just walking in, but going on to the food it was very good and filling. I got 2 chicken tacos and a side of rice, I only finished one and the rice and was full. The food was actually mexican, I mean by this we have a few places that are considered fake mexican. The presentation was well plated and it was not messy. Not only was the presentation of the food put nicely together I really liked the menu as well. It was very simple and not many options, I do wish there were a few more choices. 

Breaking taco is a small little mexican restaurant in mahomet illinois. It is a great place to eat if you want to enjoy some great mexican. I wish it was a little more modern, but it is a great little place. I recommend the tacos there are a few choices you can pick from and there are plenty of options to put on it. There is a side of spicy salsa that goes very well with them. So next time you are close I would recommend trying this traditional mexican place and let me know how it goes.
