This old school dinner looking restaurant in my opinion is overpriced for the quality of the food. When I walked in, the cash registers were right in front with the menu displayed above them. There are burgers, chicken tenders, hotdogs, shakes, and a few more options. At Freddy’s you order at the front counter, pay there, then you go find your own seat and wait for your order to be called. There is another open counter where you pick up your food from. You can see the whole kitchen and everything that is being made. This might be satisfying for some customers to watch how their food is being prepared.
Food: I enjoyed the food but I would definitely prefer other restaurants if you are looking for a burger. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger. It came with two thin patties, cheese, bacon, mustard, pickles, and onions. This sandwich was not very well put together. It seemed they just threw everything on, and sent it out. Even though it was not put together that well, it tasted pretty good. I do not think it should be as pricey though. I paid around 11 dollars for the double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The cost to me was not worth it.
Menu: The menu was displayed on a screen above the restigesters, but you could get a paper menu if you wanted. It was a good touch to have both options. The menu was well organized and in sections. Once section was organized by burgers with or without a meal, another section was hotdogs and so on. One thing I would change about the menu is I wish it had a more modern look to it. Personally, I like old school restaurants, but some modern touches can help attract a larger population of people.
Freddy’s is a decent restaurant. However, if you have been there before then I would recommend trying something new. Even though the food tasted good, it wasn’t anything special. I also feel it was too high priced for the food. If you have never been there, and like the feel of old school restaurants Feddy’s is an okay place to try. Just be prepared for the price. Remember, this is just my personal opinion on this restaurant. Of course, others may think differently, and it is always good to make your own decisions.
