Minecraft

I hope you are all stilI staying safe at home.  As you saw in my last blog post I decided to switch things up and  blog about video games until I can go back into restaurants and sit down to eat. Right now who knows how long that will be! The game I decided to blog about today is Minecraft. Some people may think that it’s just for young kids, but I’m here to say it’s not.  Older people can play it and it can really bring out your creativity. I know people of all ages that play this game.  You can play to beat the game or just see who of your friends build the best place. You can do some much in this game and it is a lot of fun with friends.

In the game you can play creative mode or in my opinion the better mode survival.  In create mode you have unlimited inventory, but in survival mode you start out with nothing. You have to farm for your inventory. Whenever I play with my friends we always play survival mode.  Once we build up our inventory, then we build mansions. In survival mode you also  try to beat the game by killing the Ender dragon. This is very difficult to do because there are Enderman everywhere trying to protect the dragon.  If you make them angry they try to kill you and more than likely they will. My friends and I  have beat the game a few times. It’s a lot of fun especially staying up till 3 in the morning with friends because the grind doesn’t stop. We can get so into this game it’s hard to stop.

The only problem with this game is after a while it can get boring and people drift away from playing. Every once in a while everyone gets on and has a lot of fun, but no matter how much you do in a world people begin to stop playing until the next time. You can only do so much. If you are older, I  do not recommend playing but by yourself.  Younger kids my have fun but for me it is very boring when not  playing with friends.

I would recommend everyone to try and play the survival mode. It  is a classic.  Second, staying up late and having fun on this game especially during this quarantine time is always the best. If you do decide to get this game,  I would recommend getting friends to join as well because it makes the experience of playing Minecraft  a lot more fun.
