Moki sushi is a restaurant in champaign down neil street. I would say this restaurant is more of a casual place to eat, you don’t need to dress very fancy, but casual clothes. Going in you are seated by a waiter and they get you drinks like any other restaurant but here is where it is different. There is a menu in the middle of the table and pieces of paper for each person, you look at the menu and write down on paper what sushi roll you want. You can pick as many rolls as you want and next to what the name of the roll or rolls you wrote down you write a number. This number is how many rolls of that kind you want, so if you write california roll 1 that is the roll and how many of that kind of roll you want. This was very unique and I really liked changing it up.
The menu was simple and well put together it was a one side sheet, on one half it had the more expensive rolls and a picture of the product. On the other side there were the simple more basic rolls, these rolls were also a lot cheaper. After ordering the food took a reasonable time to get to us. They bring us the food and it is very well plated and has a good presentation. It was well put together and they tried to put all your rolls on one plate. I ordered two rolls and instead of separate plates both were on just the one plate. Even though the presentation was very well put together, the food was very good. One roll I got was more of a basic roll and it had raw salmon in it. It tasted as fresh as getting seafood on the coast. Every roll I have had there has never let me down, if you have never have moki sushi before I would highly recommend going.
The prices are very affordable and a lot cheaper than some of the sushi restaurants including, Kofusion. Even though the prices are a lot cheaper, you get the same quality and great flavors if you were going to a place like Kofusion. There is a wide variety of choices and you could get an all-you can eat, as many rolls for one price, but any piece you don’t eat is two dollar extra. This restaurant overall is a very good restaurant and if you have never been to moki sushi I would highly recommend this restaurant.
